  • Black Box Analog Design HG-2

I’ve only spent a short time with the Black Box HG-2 and I’m already in love! What a fantastic sound it has. It really does glue your mix together in a special way, adding character and density that is second to none. The additional air control is truly the icing on the cake. I’m hooked!

  • Brainworx bx_rooMS

bx_rooMS is a very special product. Sure there are many great reverbs out there but it stands out from the crowd with it’s rich sound and flexible intuitive interface. It’s really a sound designer's dream, but it never feels confusing. bx_rooMS can create everything from beautiful true-to-life spaces to the strange and impossible. The added Quick Controls allow me to easily get in the zone and then tweak from there. The Source Distance, Directivity, M/S and EQ just take it to another level. Easily the only reverb I may ever need.

  • Vertigo VSM-3

The Vertigo VSM-3 is without a doubt my favorite saturation / distortion! It can go from hi-fi subtle to glorious extremes and back again. The dual circuits, frequency selectivity, M/S and blend controls make it so versatile and fun to use. Suitable for all instruments, busses and mastering chains.

  • Lindell Audio 354E

I’ve really enjoyed using the Lindell 354E on a new batch of mixes. It has a detailed yet powerful sound that is perfect for the mix buss or for mastering. The three bands, sidechain filter, Mix knob, and M/S functionality really give you a lot of control. The large GUI is gorgeous to look at and a joy to use.

  • Unfiltered Audio Instant Delay

I love the new Instant Delay from Unfiltered Audio. It has a lot of my favorite aspects of Sandman Pro but in a smaller, easier to use package. It’s a fantastic sounding delay with many tonal possibilities.

  • fiedler audio stage

What a cool new plugin! I love bx_rooMS, so I was eager to see what Plugin Alliance and Fiedler came up with next. fiedler audio stage has many uses from subtle mastering spatial expansion to extreme flanging and doubling madness! The graphics are awesome and really helped me to visualize what was going on. I look forward to experimenting more with this great new tool in my mixing and mastering. It’s deep!

  • Unfiltered Audio Zip

I’m really digging Unfiltered Audio’s latest plugin, Zip. It’s a great dynamics processor in it’s own right, but it really shines as a unique creative tool when you start to add its analysis, saturation and modulation options to the mix.

  • elysia museq

The elysia museq is an absolutely magical EQ. Clear and intuitive controls wrapped around a beautiful sound. The resonant low cut filter and M/S modes allow me to add great levels of detail and spatial expansion. A permanent member of my mix buss.

  • Brainworx bx_delay 2500

The new bx_delay 2500 is quickly becoming a go to for all my delay needs. It simply sounds fantastic and the great user interface allows me to easily dial in exactly what I’m looking for. The distortion, bit crush and transient shaping modes as well as the outstanding modulation system really take it to another level making it a mixing and sound design dream come true.
