Being able to reference my mix while on the go without having to drop by a studio or connect it to the car is of tremendous value: dearVR Monitor has made it finally possible to cross-reference my mixes.
This is an incredible way to reference your tracks in many scenarios. Instead of physically going to places and being in specific situations, dearVR Monitor is quick, easy to use, and super-efficient in the studio and outside of it. I love how straightforward and reliable it is.
Does exactly what it says in a simple interface. I like that there are no graphs, scopes, meters, etc. It forces you to use your ears instead of your eyes (as it should be)!
Increasingly, professionals need more flexibility to monitor 5.1 and immersive mixes wherever they are. Utilizing the latest advancements in binaural audio, products like the dearVR MONITOR Plugin provide a remarkable window into how multichannel mixes sound.

You nailed a solution for this elusive territory. As a user, I felt completely immersed in the presence of each of the different sound field simulations.
The details of these spaces are profound; the phasing, response, and distortion of each rig really nail the elusive feel and value of working in different acoustic environments. I find the various decay times to be incredibly helpful when dialing in the depth, bounce, and decay in the low end of my mixes. MONITOR helps me sculpt the low end in a way that will hit effectively in a dead-sounding studio but will retain clarity as well in a spacious club or auditorium. In addition to using this as a monitoring tool, MONITOR has also become my favorite new reverb plugin for drum rooms!
Dear Reality MONITOR has helped me immensely with some crucial mix decisions on a trailer soundtrack – which I had to finish on headphones because my new mixing room is under construction.
I think it's a useful tool because it breaks the stigma of mixing or even mastering on headphones. It opens up a whole new dimension of life and makes you feel like you're really in the studio. Let alone the club preset so you can check how it will sound in the club!
DearVR Monitor is an essential reference tool for anyone working with multichannel and immersive content. It gives me confidence to accurately mix and quality control, even while working from home!
