Andrzej “Looptrotter” Starzyk’s passion for circuits began in childhood, building consoles, effects and experimental instruments. His journey from analog synths to digital workstations led him to realize the need for warmth, depth and life in sound, inspiring the creation of the Monster Compressor with its tube-based saturation and musical FET design.

Looptrotter has since expanded into a family of unique analog-inspired processors like the Satur-8/24, Sa2Rate and Sat500. Each design reflects Starzyk’s vision of sound full of color and character, with yellow chosen as the brand’s symbol for creativity, imagination and positive energy.
