Unfiltered Audio, founded in Southern California, was built on the belief that music software should be created by musicians. Co-founders Joshua Dickinson and Michael Hetrick combined backgrounds in composition, modular synthesis and sound design with a passion for pushing creative boundaries.

Teaming up with Dr. Ryan Michael McGee at UC Santa Barbara, they developed award-winning plugins like Sandman and G8. With roots in cutting-edge DSP research, Unfiltered Audio continues to craft performance-focused, experimental tools that inspire musicians and producers worldwide.
