  • NEOLD BIG AL

PA is back with another never-been-seen before beauty from the past - and we are going way back here - to the 1930s! Big Al is not a Chicago gangster, but a powerhouse saturator/clipper with heavy pentode genetics. Capable of lots of different tones and colors, I especially like Big Al on drums and basses. Big Al creates a very big, warm, round, and smooth sound that adds a great deal of weight to the track. And if you don’t know what Voltage Sag is - or think it sounds like a bad thing, you are wrong. Mind-blowing.

  • Purple Audio MC77

Stunner. An immaculate modeling of one of the best neo-classic compressors ever made! Sounds and feels just like the hardware — but it’s packed with tons of extra super-useful options. Brilliant!
