    MetricAB is a really powerful tool for comparing how your productions stand up against reference tracks. There is a raft of essential features and everything you need is right there and easy to use. There are a few other plugins in the same field, but this is easily the best.

    Especially when you don't have the "perfect" room, or working in a home studio, it is important to compare your mix with professional productions!
    This is the most easy way to get a good sounding mix :)
    Btw: At the very first beginning of every session, I am listening to a few prof. productions to calibrate my ears and get the right feeling for my setup.
    MetricAB is easy to use and has great analysis tools so you can also see what is going on.

    ADPTR's Metric AB is the definitive utility plugin for referencing mixes and masters.
    I own both REFERENCE and MAGIC AB and have used them to great effect, but they have both just been permanently retired,
    The combined metering and referencing of MetricAB steps up the level of functionality in a way that the other contenders fail to do,
    In one plugin you can easily hear and see how you mix stacks up against your reference mixes and masters and all in a great GUI that is easy on the eye,
    In short this is one plugin that any self respecting professional should not be without.

    I had the pleasure of testing this plugin early, and all I can say is that Metric AB shows me me in one(!) plugin everything I need to know to deliver great mixes and masters. I compare my songs to hit records while I work on my songs, and I compare them not only by ear, but also with all the great metering tools. And it just works! With this plugin and bx_masterdesk I get really close to the sound of my favorite bands and mix engineers. And it's EASY to understand! Thank you ADPTR and PA for this awesome tool!

    I'm absolutely in love with this. Referencing, in my opining, is an extremely important part of any production. I've worked with other reference plugins before but nothing has come close to being such a complete package that literally makes your life easier in every way. Being able to volume match your source and reference material is an absolute godsend, drag in multiple files simultaneously, the metering is fantastic and intuitive, the overlay option for said metering is incredibly clever, the ability to filter and solo frequency bands, analyse and compare those, the logical and very handy playback options on hand plus a ton more really, in my opinion THE ONLY reference plugin you'll need. It really is an ingenious piece of software.
