Even to my old ears this EQ does an excellent job on the final mix. This is were I use it and it is now my go to plugin against mud and for those little boosts or cuts on mids. Last but not least: you can add a little thickness by THD. I hope the full Amek/Neve console is still planned!

I don't have direct experience with the hardware, but this plug does have a nice sound and its own musical character. I of course appreciate the usual Brainworx MS features, TMT, variable THD, etc, but I ding them one star for NOT ALLOWING FOR TEXT ENTRY of parameters on their channel strips. Text entry really helps us guys who get mouse cramp from mixing all dang day. It would be nice to see more text entry capabilities in a future update!

This is my new favourite EQ and will be used as the main dialogue EQ across my next series for Netflix. I discovered this EQ during a recent project where the voiceover was recorded with too much proximity, I tried everything and only the 2098 removed the boominess and edgy highs without feeling like signal was being lost. It removes the ugly bits and emphasizes the good bits, somehow without losing power or energy. It's HPF and LPF are very gentle, really perfect for voice. The Sheen and Glow are hard to describe but a very identifiable sound, they actually do their magic even with negative values, which is counter-intuitive but there you go. I have a lot of brainworx' stuff, native and UA, and I think this is their best effort to date.

This manifestation doesn't disappoint. I'm own plenty eqs including most uad plugs but this gives me a vibe tasty none of my uad Neves cab give. I particularly love the top sheen and the upper mids. And yes, I've worked with the hardware on many mixes.

Wow! Brainworx has done it again. They have made a plugin with real depth and clarity, something that is often missing in plugins. That’s why I own most of their plugins. And this baby has character and lot’s of headroom to make anything jump out of a mix. Also it’s very musical sounding, thank’s to Rupert Neve’s design and the Brainworx emulation.
