Wow! nothing more needed to say... but seriously this is a great sounding channel strip. For the past 3 weeks I've been using the SSL channel strip v2 on just about everything, but since I tried this out, I've been swapping them out 3 out of 5 times. Very detailed and really adds a nice warmth to the channels once you have a few of these running

I really don’t know what to say. I’ve already used this on so many sources but it has shined for me on vocals, drums and guitar. It has so much life to it and it will be my go to channel strip until something else better comes along. How is that possible though? This is absolute madness. As much as I love every creative and crazy effects plugin… an excellent channel strip is so very important to my process.

I didn’t think there would be any new plugin that would get me really worked up and motivated, I was wrong, the work that Herr Ulrich, Dirk if I may, and his team is, without exaggeration, is simply astounding, one of the best moves I ever made was to take up the Mega Bundle early adopter offer, which gave me a substantial rebate and on top a voucher that was more than I am paying to actually purchase all my favourites that were also massively rebated in the summer sale…..It basically just doesn’t get any better, well it does actually, month for month more and astounding plugins added to the bundle. I am trying to find the words of thankfulness and gratitude to Dirk and his team. And now comes the 9099, this is a desk that I heard existed but never saw or used, I did actually own an Amek System 9098 Dual Compressor / Limiter, which I lost in a Warehouse fire along with many great 19“ Reverbs, delays, gates and my UREI gear, also all my microphones too. I will never be able to replace them all due to rarity, price and my own restricted financial/physical circumstances after neck surgery that went very, very wrong. Funnily enough I’m just out of REHA ( the German version not to be confused with the English/American REHAB, I’m sure Dirk knows the difference

I just love the combination with the SSL 9000J. For me is perfect to all my buss channels, because the clarity, punch, warm... And all the new tools and approach to work with a channel strip now. I have all the tools to work with all kind of instruments, HI and LO filters, a very good compressor, powerfull EQ and new features for me in a Channel Strip like a monomaker, stereo width, limiter and clipper! All with the great TMT Emulation! I just love on my Drum bus, the clipper is so good and the top end EQ is like the air presence band in the Maag EQ, the Stereo width sounds for me like the Shredspread. The Compressor sounds good on guitars, vocals and Acoustics too. You guys rock!!

I was really impressed right off the bat with the AMEK 9099. I dropped it in my bx_console shootout session, and it had a center energy that blew me away. The amount of tools that come in the 9099, as well as the responsiveness of the controls, paired with its transparent tone, really turn this plugin into a do-all strip. When driven, the console sounds fantastic with bassy signals, with saturation that highlights the lows, not the mud. I also really love the GUI on this strip; it's the sound that matters, but the bx team really outdid themselves with "worn" / "clean" versions of the plugin. I love using it, and I love looking at it.

This strip is amazing and is really keeping me glued to plug-in alliance.. The sound is Blazing and honestly smooth with character as well.. I love the way that it is set up as well.. The notch filters make it easy to cut and fine tune as well to find problematic frequencies… Definitely a stellar Strip!!!
