Precise, Musical and Colorful
★★★★★I don't know the hardware - people say the revised version is closer to it. I don't care - it is such a great enhancement to my mixes! First of all it is an easy way to achieve a great sound on each track with all the tools it offers. Both EQs are great (esp. love the brown knobs on giving some extra push with a bell on low or some shine on the highs), the dynamics are superb, esp. with the enhancements of the plugin.
The surplus that comes with the mixing console vibe is hard to describe. It doesn't sound "washed out" like some console emulations I know. These little differences between the channels creates wideness and integrates the material into a single environment.
I love these bx_console plugins! (Still hoping for the Neve/Amek...) -
