Very glad that the filters have slope options and are as low as 15Hz and high as 40kHz.
Again, lose the handles and screws, they're utterly unnecessary.
(Tip: as always, go by ear. The hardware never required viewing a spectral analyzer). -
Crazy Good!
★★★★★I must admit, I have more equalizers than I could possibly use, and when I saw this one I said ho hum. However, I gave it a demo for the curiosity of the heritage of the EQ and the respect I have for Lindell Audio. I mix for a living and I am always looking to improve my gear for my livelihood and equally my love of sonic excellence!
What is so special about this EQ? Simply put it is the sound! It is warm deep and harmonically excellent! It is a mastering EQ that isn't a surgical EQ, it can work great with a surgical EQ doing all the heavy lifting needed all while the surgical EQ hammers out the fine details. But, also I placed it on guitars, vocals, bass, drums, keys and just about anything all while it simply sounds fantastic for mixing as well. The curves work, however there is much more to it than just the curves. It is simple to use and the layout is smart. Lindell Audio really did an amazing job on this one!
