Clearmountain 8068

Bring the legendary warmth and clarity of engineer Bob Clearmountain’s custom Neve 8068 console to your DAW. Faithfully recreated in plugin form, it captures the iconic character that shaped countless classic records.

Authentic Analog Character

Every circuit and component of Bob Clearmountain's classic British console has been meticulously modeled—capturing the exact desk behind iconic mixes for Kool & the Gang, Sister Sledge, Chic, and many others at New York's legendary Power Station.

Rich, Musical EQ

Clearmountain 8068 delivers the console's iconic, highly musical 3-band EQ. With expanded frequency points over the classic 1073 and a High-Q mode for surgical accuracy, it's the ultimate tool for shaping drums, vocals, and strings.

Harmonic Saturation

Unlock dynamic tone options with Line and Mic input modes. Line mode delivers classic console warmth and subtle harmonic richness. Switch to Mic mode for bolder saturation and aggressive drive, or push extreme settings to discover unique, lo-fi grit and snarl.

Intelligent Auto Gain

Automatically keep levels consistent when driving the Mic gain to ensure your ears aren't deceived by changes in volume. This means you can freely explore the full range of saturation and grit offered by the plugin's Mic mode without constantly adjusting the output level, allowing you to focus purely on the tonal character you're creating.
