Clearmountain Dance

Clearmountain Dance is the latest addition to the Clearmountain series, engineered to recreate the iconic and dynamic stereo delay heard on David Bowie's "Let's Dance." This plugin faithfully captures the rich, warm character of the original dual tape head delay, bringing a quintessential element of music history directly to your DAW.

Cascading Ping Pong Delay

Clearmountain Dance uses a cascading ping-pong delay to build dynamic stereo textures and hypnotic rhythmic patterns. By storing incoming audio in a temporary buffer, the plugin plays back delayed signals with captivating timing. Stereo tracks maintain their original spatial balance for dry signals while sending a summed mono signal to hard-panned delays; mono tracks expand into full, immersive stereo sound through the added wet delay paths.

Analog Imperfections and Tape Emulation

Delivering rich, warm dual tape head delay, this plugin lets you dial in analog charm with the Degrade knob. Simulate tape aging to tame harsh highs, add organic warmth, or evoke subtle wow and flutter at higher settings.

Customizable Randomization

Clearmountain Dance features unique randomization tools to take your timing beyond standard grid patterns. Use the Offset knob to adjust timing differences between left and right channels, and the Skew knob to introduce rhythmic variation similar to swing.
