    This is THE Bass Amp Simulation. At least for everything rock music related, metal, punk, alternative, wave & goth rock, no matter what, and I am pretty sure everything else too, like funk, jazz, soul, dub, whatever. I use it all the time as standard. Easy to dial in, very accurate and thick. It sounds as if I had an Ampeg fridge all miked up in the room next door - but I haven't!
    If someone had told me this is possible in the digital age, I would not have believed it. If you are skeptical towards digital simulation in general, get your trial for this one.
    I cannot for the life of me distinguish a miked "real" signal apart from this one. I mean it. Never had a Bass Amp Simulation that was convincing, this just makes me smile all the time. Essential and unrivaled.

    I owned the UA version of the B15 for a couple of years before it became native on PA. THEN, the SVT came out and I was working with a band with a bass player that used the SVT for his sound. I asked him to take a picture of his amp, and we matched the front panel settings to his DI signal and put it against the SVT amp. He could not tell the difference on playback and then we started switching through the mic models and actually came up with a sound that he liked better than the original amp! All of the Ampeg plugins are a real time saver in the studio, especially when you can change settings in the mix. Thank you Plugin Alliance!!!
