Nice recreation of this pedal without the typical hiss of the original hardware with high gain settings. This means better sound quality and less limitations.
    Great product!!!

    Love it.
Very clean and wonder distortion. I use it in conjunction with the Rock Rack emulator. I have a clean signal going to the Screamer first, then Amp emulator. I think it works best when you start getting distortion through the gain on the amp, and then add the pedal. It just adds that extra distortion and still cuts through without any muddyness.

Thats a Amazing plugin. Like to have this plugin always in my recordings. It will not over ride your sound or live instrument. This plugin a must have plugin in every studios. Note that you dont need a extra physical pedals for distortion. But this is the only one plugin that will give you an exacty a distortion.

As a long time Plugin Alliance user I could easily wait to get what I expected. As a guitarplayer allso, I knew the greenscreamers waitings and now must I say, they've done a fine work. To start a session to create a track, the beginnin is so much easier, cause the working sound is immediately there and the feel of playing is what I,m uset to.
    Good tool to anybody, thanks.

If you have ever been a fan of the original then you know that this plugin has a lot to live up to. The good news is that it really does live up to its claims.
I recently got to spend time working on a friends pedalboard. His pedal collection features almost every iconic pedal you could wish for including a TS808. Each tube screamer model has a different characterstic and to many the TS808 is the version that achieved iconic status.
I love the original TS808. It's not neccesarily the 'best' overdrive pedal out there, but it cerainly appeals to many - including me.
I purchased the Brainworx emulation based on the video demo alone. It sounded so close to the original that I could not afford to miss the opportunity and I'm so glad I did. The plugin features the same controls as the original and it respond to the player just like the original.
If your after a blues or rock style of drive then this is certainly worth checking out and there is no excuse not to. If your after a metal sound then look elsewhere as that's not what tubescreamers are about. I love how close this plugin has got it compared to the original.
I have a chain of plugins saved for my guitar set up in my DAW all of which happen to be made by Brainworx (any chance of an endorsement guys ;0). This chain is as follows: BX Tuner (because everyone should be in tune), BX Opto pedal, BX Greenscreamer, BX Bluechorus and into BX Megasingle. This is a close emulation of my live rig when I was using the real TS808. The plugin chain listed sounds so close to the original that I stopped dragging my amp and pedalboard into the studio and I just use the software now. Nobody has complained about the results either.
I my opinion this is about as close as you can get to the original sound in a modern pluggin.

Compared to other plug-in pedals of this kind, bx_overdrives sounded in my ears authentic creamy. It fits into the mix very quickly without any additional actions. In addition, there are the musician-friendly offers, which makes it cheap for a moment, but very valuable. I use the stuff of PlugIn Alliance every day, these are really great tools. Many thanks to the team and the developers who offers here this high end level.

This is one of my favorite pedal plugins. It just delivers warm tone for the price of taking out digital harshness. Calling it 'screamer' is a little ironic. The sound is however very familiar with a 12 db moog filter without that resonance 'scream' on the top. The intention of a pedal is taking it as a hot plugging effect which introduces the possibility to use it in a very creative way.

...as soon as you listen his sound, how it drives the amp after it.
Creamy, fat, in one word perfect. I have many TS emus, almost all of them are free and good, but it is of another league. I know, 49 bucks are a lot of money for a pedal emulation, but you can always wait for a sale or a voucher. Try it, it's free. But warning! then you'll get it.
