    I just used this as the key pieces in my mastering chain for a whole album I just recently mastered for Billboard Magazine. Amazing! Great for overall tone sculpting and the compression algorithms are spot on! The only additional plugins used were the bx-V3 to carve out some problem frequencies and my favorite Limiter and ditherer at the end of the chain. Wish list would include a bypass for each section, A/B level matching pre/post-processing, and a little bit more comprehensive metering. A great new weapon to add to the arsenal.

    Although I already work with world-class tools (Weiss DS1-MK3-MM1, Kush Audio Clariphonic, Zynaptiq Intensive......) in the mastering area, bx_masterdesk once again refines the overall analog impression, opens up new spaces and ultimately smoothes out unevenness.
    Obwohl ich bereits im Masteringbereich mit Weltklasse-Tools (Weiss DS1-MK3-MM1, Kush Audio Clariphonic, Zynaptiq Intensive.....) arbeite, verfeinert bx_masterdesk nochmals den analogen Gesamteindruck erkennbar, öffnet zudem noch einmal neue Räume und glättet letztlich Unebenheiten ab.

    when i first tried out the bx_masterdesk i found it to be a very good-sounding plugin. but i wasn't sure if it could hold up with my expectations when it comes to mastering. luckily, i had a song in three different versions on my harddisk: the original mix, then a master by a very well-known german indiemusic mastering engineer and a version by a lesser known but still great german mastering engineer who once remastered a lot of beatles-records for EMI. so i tried to get as close as possible to those two mastered versions with the bx_masterdesk. and what can i say? after some time getting used to the way this plugin works i was able to reproduce both masters. not perfectly, though, but those are expensive masters and i was just sitting there playing around on my laptop with my DT 880 pro headphones and some beer. what i want to say comes down to this: at the end of the day you can send your clients a nice-sounding, glossy, punchy, wide and open final version of your mix just with the turn of a few buttons. from that point onwards you can still trust your favourite mastering engineer, which i also still prefer. but you need this. really.

    Sounds fantastic, easy to dial in and pretty light weight latency wise. I've found this incredibly handy on the master bus as a quick master for demos, previews and pitches for clients where I don't want to spend too much time on the mastering process. The results are incredibly good for something which literally takes a few seconds to dial in.

    ...more and more mastering becomes a task for independend producers. Masterdesk is a great tool to add that little bit of golden dust over the mix. It´s easy to handle and has just the right and effective tools at hand. Became one of my no1 choices, when do a quick final touch on a mix.
