At first I didn't like this delay. But then I didn't like the other Unfiltered Audio plug-ins at first either...Just strange! Honestly the presets are still not useful for music production. But if you start out blank then it´ s really useful.

Sandman Pro is suprising in its creative possibilities. I have numerous delays in my plugin folder but none combine the feature of pitchshitping and modulation quite like this... instant inspiration and unlike some one off plugins , this one can sit in a mix if you need it to behave.

This plugin is very good alternative to Soundtoys Echoboy. It has many unique features like delay feedback widening and different saturation and modulation options. I really glad I bought it. It's one of my favorite delay plugins now.

This plug is great. Love how you can route things using the patch cables. The only downfall is if using a Roli Lightpad to modulate certain parameters (super awesome way of controlling multiple things at once while only using one finger on the pad!), it doesn't actually write automation into a session. I spoke with Unfiltered about this and they say the plug bypasses the DAW in some way all together when using the Lightpad with the Roli Dashboard. They said the Sandman Pro is suited more for live performances when using it that way. If you're using a Lightpad and you're planning on using Sandman Pro to come up with written parts it will take a work around. I've been printing to an audio track. That will work but it will make it much harder to fine tune parts and its a much slower workflow when composing.

Buffer display is brilliant Sample Rate is great Cons: Lacks color options and character The filters seem limited Sleep buffer is very clicky and creates unmusical artefacts The tape delay is not very convincing Multitap delay a bit unwieldy Feedback control could feel better
