It's alive!
★★★★★I bought this thing because I found it to be very useful on rhythms and generally everything you want to give some life. It's of course nothing like Output's Motion or Soundtoys Panman, it's an extremely clever spectral toolkit that lets you sink deep into the frequency articulation of your sounds. I give it five stars even though, like Unfiltered Audio's Noisegate G8, I find this plugin to be extremely ugly looking. It's like a bad lava lamp. The upper part of the GUI can mesmerize you while the lower part is just an abomination of a metal stand with a lot of tweaking possibilities. Okay, the image doesn't fit. But you get the point. Also, this thing is very nice on acoustic instruments in technoid environments. Check it out! -
SpecOps Inspires
★★★★★This is a very innovative plugin. You can use it aggresively or just mix in bits to taste. As far out as the sound can be, you can tweak it to blend in the mix and add colour. I'll be exploring this for a long while. Outstanding! -
Unfiltered Audio SpecOps
★★★★★it's simply wonderful! -
SpecOps
★★★★★Forget the modulation possibilities for a moment, because SpecOps' core strength is making spectral processing *accessible*. All kinds of delightful and destroyed results can be effortlessly achieved. Now remember all the modulation possibilities and start creating! -
First impression
★★★★★I haven’t had a chance yet to get my head around this one but I did load a vocal preset on a voice synth sound, and with the help of the mix dial the result was really out standing, very high quality, and I’ve used similar settings on quite a few sounds now. Looking forward to reading the manual! -
Specops
★★★★★im gonna have fun disassembling my projects to fit this, man! I’m loving it. Wow, I had to stop playing with specops, just to write this review. Now, back to my mix session. -
Wonderful
★★★★★With this toolbox you get the sound of future.
Sometimes you need that organic touch to your synth patches.
Flexible filters and window sizes making it interesting for LoFi effects. - Hours of fun.
I was surprised trough the simple boosting of gain in and out it not just making the impact louder it somehow makes it more voiced. Louder is often better but it is not just louder it makes it kind of natural, clear and brighter. The modulation system helps really to stage the depth and automate in the movement of certain parameters.
Can be used on full mixes or transistions. Enhancing drumloops and bass also possible if using the backward algorithm by mixing in the top end softly. -
Finally!
★★★★★The first spectral processing plugin done right. A must have tool for every sound designer.
The input signal is divided into 3 paths, that can be processed individually and mixed back in serial or a parallel multiband fashion. Each path can have its own spectral effect (and there are 36 of them). Almost everything can be modulated and automated. The sonic possibilities are endless.
This plugin is capable of generating effects from subtle transient smoothing and spectral pitch shifting to harmonic stretching and time freezing to weird glitching and ultimate FSU stuff that cannot be described in English. Also there's a lovely "Randomize Parameters" function for catching happy accidents. -

★★★★★A new way of work with audio.
Infinite possibilities of modulation and creation.
Amazing tool. Possibly the best one in 2017 for me.
Thanks for this piece of software. -
Just...... . . . .
★★★★★. . . ...WOW!
