    I had to share this. I was mastering a rock CD for a big production library company. The tracks had crunch guitars, but they were a little thin to my ears. There was lots of bass on the tracks, so I didn't want to muddy up the sound. I used my usual arsenal but was not satisfied with my results. Then I remembered the HG 2 Black Box. I opened the Master-Thickness preset, tweaked (I didn't want the Alt Tube). I am very happy with the results, and I think the client will be too.

    This plug - in blew my head off in the best way possible. Suddenly my tracks seemed to leap into life with this thing on the master buss! I started using it on my synth tracks also as the HG-2 provides a wealth of delicious colour and tone to each channel it touches. From dense electronics, percussion, brass and winds to strings and vocals and more, so far, each instrument in my scores has benefited handsomely from this plug in. I bloody love it!

    I took a free trial after hearing a lot of commotion about the Blackbox’s arrival in software form. Then I heard D.Ramirez (Toolroom Records) rating it’s use highly for his kick sounds. So after more testing and decided I had to purchase it, as it really is quite fantastic at adding saturation and harmonics. For me it was a must purchase, definitely test this out.
