The low-mids of the bx_console AMEK 9099 are very reminiscent of the Amek 9098i console I’ve worked on years ago. One thing I always missed on the original Amek 9098i was dedicated dynamics on the channel itself; thank you Plugin Alliance for having included it and more!

I love this AMEK 9099 so much! It's an amazing tool, super versatile, and also fun to work with. I was digging into the TMT and it gives a lot of weight to the sound. It's like having muscles on the mid-range. The top end is crisp and lovely, the mid-range is so clean and easy to get to the right place. I'm amazed by this one!

The AMEK 9099 is another Plugin Alliance weapon I've added to my mix arsenal. Being in the box and having the analog channels at my fingertips allows me to have the width you get from a real console, but in the box! The smooth Eq is great on my vocals and I can get flabby kicks and bass nice and tight with the compressor. One of my favorite features on the Amek is the stereo width knob. I'll definitely be using this on a lot of my future mixes!

The bx_console AMEK 9099 is bound to excite both technical and creative users because it features extreme flexibility with tight narrow filters and precise sidechaining options, and the "Ambience" mode is an extremely cool way to creatively shape your drums for an entirely new explosive sound. The AMEK 9099 boasts the most flexibility of any console channel strip. EVER. I'd feel limited going back to any other console channel strip now.

I call this channel strip the Beauty and a Beast. The AMEK 9099 is a pure beauty and a total beast on the mix. It’s super musical and you can hear immediately how it shines even without mousing a single knob. Love the huge lows, silky mids and a pristine top-end. It’s really smooth and pleasing even when pushed. It’s incredibly versatile and an absolute blast to use. I can definitely see the AMEK 9099 finding a home in my mixes.

What a way to blend so many great functions into one plugin that has the legendary analog sound of the AMEK 9099. I’ve been using it on my drum bus for reggaeton, pop, and all the genres I’m mixing. I love how the “Mix” dial for compression/limiter together with the “Clip” active, adds more color and presence to my sound.
