DynaQ is a mastering-grade dynamic EQ with added saturation and stereo widening, and the first plugin to implement an innovative approach that creators Masterlab Audio call Dynamic Split Processing.

DynaQ splits the signal dynamically into two separate sections above and below a specified threshold, each visible in their own spectral analyser window.

The compressor-style Dynamic controls determine how and when the signal is split and which frequency elements are sent to each section.

What sets DynaQ apart from other dynamic EQs is its ability to then independently process each of the Above/Below sections at the same time, each with their own dedicated processing chain: EQ, Saturation, Stereo Width, Pan and dedicated Outputs.

This approach means DynaQ is an extremely effective and streamlined tool in situations where, for example, you find that your desired EQ adjustments focused on the louder parts of the signal are simultaneously disrupting the tone or balance of the quieter parts, or vice versa. Dynamically split complex signals and apply equalisation, analogue-style saturation and stereo widening to them both independently, all within a single instance of the plugin.
