About the Mixing Engineer
Maria Elisa Ayerbe is a Latin Grammy Award-winning audio engineer living in Miami, with more than 15 years of experience in recording, mixing, music production, and audio post production.
She received four Latin Grammy nominations for her role as producer, engineer and co-writer of Paula Arena’s Mis Amores album in the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards. Mis Amores is currently nominated for the 2022 Grammy Awards as Best Latin Pop Album.
Maria Elisa has been part of the musical productions for artists such as Mary J Blige, Ricky Martin, New Kids on the Block, Marc Anthony, JLo, Natti Natasha, Il Divo, Laura Pausini, Juanes, Kronos Quartet, Nashville Symphony, Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra, New World Symphony, among many others.
The Song
'Vete' is an almost 3-minute song that at first sounds fun and upbeat but the lyrics tell a different story. It’s about telling someone to leave if they believe they have found someone that loves them more.
About the Artist
Daniel René is a singer, songwriter and producer with a natural ear for music. A native of Miami, FL, Daniel René’s life in music has spanned 25 years.
He practically grew up on stage as part of a boyband but as he developed his own sound he quickly found he is just as at home in the studio making music as he is on stage performing it. He tries to find balance between the music that is trending and the music that he is inspired to produce.
The Session
The entire 'Vete' track was built around the simple synth line with added keys, drums and bass. He was feeling a slight underbelly best of Latin urban vibes with more American pop styled melodies for this one, so he kept it authentic to what he initially felt while writing the lyrics and melody. Overall Daniel René went for a simplistic styled pop / commercial track that he made sure not to over produce. Sometimes what you take out is as important as what you add in.
