This is a fantastic dynamic EQ. It's my go to de-esser and plosive remover, but can do so much more. It really shines in complex audio situations such as drum overheads and mastering. It's super flexible, but not overly complicated... I find it very easy and fast to dial in. It's sonic characteristics are very surgical and transparent, as a good dynamic EQ should be. I highly recommend it.
The bx-dynEQ V2 is the most recent addition to my library of Brainworx plugins. Love the flexibility of the dynEQ, comp, de-ess and boost modes. This tool is powerful yet easy to use. Filtering is transparent and without noticeable artifacts. Multi mono and M/S capability makes this plugin the bomb! bx plugins are "essential". (I had sent a review yesterday-this is a more recent submission-thanks)
Precise manipulation of frequencies for any direction!

I love it! It's just astonishing dealing with several possibilities in manipulate frequency from triggering-automated parameters!
Just brilliant. I’ve never mixed anything that couldn’t have benefited from this surgical tool. Preserve everything but the moments and frequencies that run out of bounds. Perfect.
Bx dyn Eq 2
Thanks for a very good plugin.
truly awesome plugin, can not wait for an updated version
Whistle tone be gone
This is one of the best kept secrets in the audio world, No other dynamic EQ has the controllability that dynEQ v2 offers, try it you will never print a mix with painful frequencies again.
bx dynamic eq.

Probably the most useful plugin I ever bought. A real problem solver. I mostly use it in cut mode to grab peaks on vocals and other instruments. Not having to remove frequencies with a fixed eq leaves me with a fuller more natural sound. I'm often mixing stuff that has been recorded in a highly questionable fashion with cheap or inappropriate mics. This plugin gets to the heart of the problem quickly and transparently. When used before a full bandwidth compressor it takes down the peaks that would otherwise cause serious gain reduction, allowing the main compressor to act across the whole sound and therefore being more effective and less obvious. I would be lost without it. I sometimes find myself using 3 or 4 of these in series to control several bands on a tricky vocal or bass guitar so my only wish is that there was a multi-band version.
I'm using the bx_dynEQ V2 for some years now. It is such a versatile tool that I would not want to miss anymore. You can make drastic manipulations to a stereo file that still sound natural. Great as a deesser, too. Love it!
