Since I already own several plugins that create widening and doubling and yes, even the PS22 Stereo Maker from another company, this version from Plugin Alliance is the only one that is truly mono compatible. That is a big deal when struggling to keep phase issues under control. Now I am free to deal with the rest of the mix without compromise.
Absolutely love this thing, very transparent process to turn a mono signal into a stereo one. The tone tone does a great job in dialing the right sound. Very easy to use.
easy to get very natural sounding stereo from a mono source. Could not ask fro more.

This is such a great tool... I do a lot of mixing for projects I haven't recorded, and one of the biggest problems I find is synths and keys being recorded in mono. It's so hard to make room for the vocal when important keys have to be in the centre of the mix... bx-stereomaker has COMPLETELY solved that problem. I'm shocked by how effective it is and how phase coherent it is in mono. So easy to use and saves so many mixes from a lack of width and clarity!
This can change the boring mono sound to wide sound(but still feels like around center).
This is very clever . And very accurate . I use it mainly on mono guitars and drum loops to help find a space in the mix . A very helpful tool . I own several Brainworx products and there all good.
Very nice plugin, i use it mainly on mono clean guitar.
The bx_stereomaker is a recently new addition to my plugin pool, yet has proven it can do more than I had hoped. The original plan was splitting mono d.i. bass a few degrees L&R to male a hole for the kick (works great for this), and widening acoustic Gt, synth pads, Bvx, and so on without having to set up auxes to set up a bunch of HAAS delays when doing quick mixes. What turns out to be particularly unique is how the "Tone" control can get the clip to jump out of the mix, or lay back if you like, and there is also a "Monomaker" control as well. This allows you to select a frequency where all information at or below will be collapsed to mono which is a great way to keep low frequency elements tight and centered. So far, I hear no shortcommings and ergonomically, the stereomaker is a breeze to use!Thank you
