Amazing. I love the gui and the eq on it especially. The gate does what it's supposed to. The auto listen feature is GOLD and I can make mix decisions much faster without having to constantly compensate output gain to A-B my changes. It would have been nice enough with 1 compressor, but the limiter also being there is a very nice touch when you need it. The mono maker stereo width section makes me wish all plugin strips had it.

yes, it is a great plugin. The UI is wonderful, the colour sound is so warm and analoge, and the performance is outstanding. I have another Amek channel strip, but the PA version is so friendly with the CPU, and the sound is pretty amazing for giving the warm and analog vibe to a cold digital track. If you are working in the box, you can understand what I say. Great, thanks, a top level plugin

I recorded a vocal with a dynamic microphone with a lot of dynamics to test the Amek 9099, the Amek evened out the vocal track in such a musical and pleasing way and made it usable and pro sounding within a mix. I would normally have to use 3 to 4 plugins and some time to make that work. A must for when tracking with quick inspiration to be able to use that take in the final mix. Huge amounts of control, and just sounds excellent.

Probably the swiss army of all the consoles plugins. You can be surgical with the notch filter mode or super musical with the classic Q mode. The AMEK has huge lows and a pristine top-end. It sounds like a mix of a modern Neve console like the VXS and a Focusrite but with its own color and sound. If you are new to console emulations and are used to parametric EQ, this one is guaranteed to make you happy with the feel and color that it adds to a track or even a whole mix thanks to the TMT technology. 4/5
