  • Highly Effective and Easy to Use

    by Rohan Firminger
I highly recommend trialing this plugin and seeing for yourself just how easy and effective it is to make significant improvements to bass tracks.
I thought I had the "low end" covered, certainly while composing music and laying down bass parts, or mixing for other parties.
There are a lot of options for sculpting projects, and anything that can "get me there" quickly and effectively is what I'm looking for.
To my surprise, the bx_subsynth delivered such an elegant solution I now wish I'd had this years ago.
It allows me to both polish my compositions and is a fantastic tool to energize the bass in mixes, and bring dull lifeless tracks to life.
  • holey-moley!

I record Synthophone quartets. I've been searching years to get more oomph out of my bari sax. The lowest note on the bari doesn't exist in the oomph range. With bx_subsynth, it does now! woo-hoo!
  • Wow!

It's really great on loops where you might need the bassdrum to be thicker. Use the Subsynth and there's all the sub in the bassdrum you'll ever need:-)

A great plugin to enhance the low-end of almost any instrument or even full mixes! I love the built-in parallel processing engine because it allows the usage of subtle to extremes settings with the simple adjustment of only one knob.
With it's additional features (saturation, lp/hp - filters, stereo widening) the bx_subsynth is a well-rounded supplement to my "digital gear rack".

Indispensable for enhancing the low end and adding that extra octave!
  • Jeden Cent Wert

  • Amazing Tone!

    by lunarchris1
Whenever a little heft is missing from a sound, this is my new go to. The tone of this processor is killer, and I find the results more pleasing than some of the sound 'waves' from competitors products. Keep up the great work, Plugin Alliance!!!
  • R-Bass who?

    by Yev B
My life was easy before I used subsynth. All I had to do was stick Waves R-Bass on any anemic bass guitar, double-bass, or tympanum and I was all set. With bx_subsynth, there were more tweaks an options to learn. But the benefit was that the synthesized sub-bass always fits source material impeccably. The best plugins are the ones that sound like you haven't used a plugin at all. That's what makes sub_synth so awesome - it gets you that room-shaking sub-bass every time while making it sound like a part of the source material.
  • Fantastic mix tool

    by MarkRM
Previously I've used the UAD VOG for low end duties, but the bx_subsynth has replaced that plugin for me. Its flexibility allows you to fill out and shape a range of different sounds and can save what might otherwise be a thin-sounding mix.

This is such a wonderful tool to have to draw on in times of need or creativity. It can save weak sounding basses (DI'd or Mic'd) add beef and braun to a lacklustre mix. So many uses, I love it!
